book now Since its foundation in 1983, the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) has accrued over 450 training centres globally and now trains over 90,000 operators, from 30 different countries, annually.

IPAF is a non-profit organisation that aims to provide technical advice and information, providing information on legislation and attempting to influence its creating, and training programmes and safety initiatives, in order to encourage the safe use of powered access equipment within the industry PAL Card.

When a candidate successfully completes the training, they are awarded a Powered Access Licence (PAL) which is certified proof of a platform operator’s skills and abilities.
