Scaffolding TG20:08 goes TG20:13
Posted on July 7, 2014
TG20:08 was withdrawn July 1st 2014. The NASC recommends that all tube and fitting scaffold structures should be supported by TG20:13, using the TG20:13 eGuide generated compliance sheets; or by a bespoke scaffold design.
There are many changes, amongst others: facts and figures, loading bays founded on the ground protection fans, nets and pavement frames.
For those ordering scaffold, the order should now state the scaffold should be erected in accordance with TG20:13 or design.
Any risk assessment and method statements should now read the scaffold is to be built in accordance with TG20:13 or design.
Courtley (Health & Safety) Ltd runs 2-day Basic Scaffold Inspection training which is ideal for bringing knowledge up to date – ring us to book your place on the next course – 0870 300 8174.
UPDATE: the duration of our Basic Scaffold Inspection course is now 3-days, to incorporate the changes to TG20:13.
