Overview: This Basic Environmental Awareness Training Course provides an introduction to environmental awareness practices. The course gives delegates the knowledge they need to work in an environmentally friendly manner. It is assessed by a multiple-choice question paper at the end of the session.

The basic environmental awareness training course covers content relevant to ensuring high standards of environmental management in the workplace are reached. We are all more than aware that the environment needs to be protected. And that all businesses need to make changes, and adapt their practices to conform to new legislation.

A focus on; waste management, water, transport, energy etc.

This course is not just relevant for those with obvious environmental precautions which need to be taken. Such as those who deal with hazardous substances or chemical waste. It is relevant for businesses of all sizes. This is because every organisation has the responsibility to ensure they are compliant with all environmental legislation.

Competence

Candidates will learn about land, water and air contamination; the global impact of industry and will leave with a better understanding of the basic legislation relating to their work.

Assessment

At the conclusion of the course, delegates will be required to complete a multiple choice test to ensure they understand the content.

How Much Does the Course Cost?

Our Basic Environmental Awareness Training course costs £57 plus VAT. If you are a Courtley member then the course is free.
