The COSHH Assessors course is for those who during their day to day duties are involved in the management of hazardous substances. Or, are required to conduct COSHH assessments. 
Following the training, candidates will have all the knowledge they require to create safer working environments where hazardous substances are used. This is because the course covers current regulations, how to conduct COSHH assessments, how to prevent workplace exposures, and how to implement preventative measures to stop accidents.

- When and where the COSHH regulations apply;
- Forms of hazardous substances;
- Environmental considerations you need to take into account;
- Collecting the right information at the right time;
- Hierarchy of control;
- Undertaking COSHH assessments;
- Exposure limits, standards and levels for different substances;
- Assessing handling operations;
- Effectively communicating the safe system of work.

- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations etc;
- Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations etc.

What Does the Training Involve?
Competence
Upon completion of the COSHH Assessor course. Candidates will be able to undertake COSHH assessments at their place of work. They will also have the knowledge which allows them to apply measures to reduce the risk of injury or illness to workers. And to limit any damage to the surrounding environment.
How Much Does the COSHH Assessors Course Cost?
The COSHH Assessor course costs £57 + VAT. If you are a Courtley member, this course can be taken for free.
